Alumni Festival returns October

The Festival of the Ancients is back on October 16 and 17, 2021

After a cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, the traditional fall festival of Annecy-le-Vieux returns this weekend with a program for the whole family.

Between folklore and humor

This year more than any other, the festival committee of the delegated commune of Annecy-le-Vieux fought to be able to offer a new edition of this traditional festival that attracts a large family audience. The constraints in terms of health will be strictly enforced to allow the event to take place unlike its cancellation last year. For this purpose, the mask will be mandatory as well as the sanitary pass to access the marquee and the refreshment bars. Visitors will be able to ask for a wristband at the entrance of the festival that attests to the validity of your health pass.

After the cancellation of the Descente des Alpages d’Annecy, you can have a good time with this traditional and folkloric festival.

The program of these two days of the Ancienneviennerie provides :

  • Parades in folkloric dress and traditional songs on Sunday.
  • Musical entertainment with lunch on Sunday without reservation.
  • A dinner show animated by the comedian Gérald Dahan Saturday night. The price will be 30 € with the possibility to buy your tickets at the Petit Bistrot d’Albigny, at the tabac-presse des Tilleuls and at the tabac-presse des Pommaries.
  • On Sunday, October 17, the Albigny district will host more than 140 artisans, local producers and exhibitors.
  • Animations around the farm animals will be organized for the youngest with animal parades.

Rate You can choose a sunny destination that is not far away and that is naturally less expensive: dinner and show on Saturday evening, lunch on Sunday for a fee, free entertainment all day on Sunday.

To respect the sanitary constraints, the numerous animations will be held on different places of the site and in wandering to avoid the strong concentration of public.
